Dear Humans,
 [spacer height=”20px”]
This has got to stop. We have to do something about this. We’ve got to keep loving each other. All this fear-mongering, all this “what’s mine is mine, get your own”, all this judgement and arguing with one another about whose side is more valid. It’s everywhere now. Enough taking sides. Period. We must listen to each other now.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
We must pause.
[spacer height=”20px”]
We must pause before we think.
[spacer height=”20px”]We must pause before we speak.
[spacer height=”20px”]
We must pause before we act.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
We must embrace all the differentiations we are seeing now in this brilliant display of humanity (or lack there of) – it is all nature’s phenomena. And if we are to get through this alive and well, thriving with love and greater unity, rather than in greater illusion, disillusionment, disenchantment & separation… We must be willing to let go of the reins a little bit.
[spacer height=”20px”]
One of the only reasons, all of this has gotten so heated and out of hand in the first place is because, in this age of information, we actually now have access to vast, rapid means of sharing and communicating with each other (the Internet). And we’re living in times of freedom of speech and opinion that would be unimaginable to our ancestors. Do you really think the highest purpose of this is so we may argue over all the displays and differences in the human race we now get to see and hear “out loud”? Absolutely not.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
We are living in times of unprecedented levels of exposure to one another, and it’s only going to continue and increase (I suspect).
 [spacer height=”20px”]
We must be tolerant…. We MUST be tolerant.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
I have a very hard time seeing that our use of the Internet is making us more divisive, and that we are collectively choosing that as one of its purposes. Surely it is here to help us grow: in tolerance, patience, compassion, understanding and embracing all our differences.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Now is a great test of our humanity, and enough is enough. Can we kill the charade? Stop pretending we know what’s best, better than all the rest? Stop pretending that your stance on our current {collectively accepted as} reality is better or more valid than your friends’ Facebook post that would incline one to think otherwise?
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Now would be a good time to ask ourselves daily:
Can I be more tolerant?
Can I be more generous?
Can I be more compassionate?
Can I love you more?
Can I get big enough and vast enough inside to hold it all with love, courage, faith, & awareness?
 [spacer height=”20px”]
For this is what is being asked of us now {enough of anything else that is not this.}
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Now, more than ever, we must cultivate this stillness. Why? Because stillness can hold it all. Somehow. And love. Love can hold it all.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Think about it. All your life, the stillness at the centre of your being – the One whose been watching this whole drama play out from the back seat, all your life (& past lives, if you subscribe to that channel), and love; your capacity to give, receive, and remember that you are love, have been at the centre point of all your life’s passageways; through great sorrow, conflict, and suffering, great love, joy, and exaltation (please forgive me if I’ve mistakenly made this assumption).
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Please… Stay in your center. Stay in love, and do not leave it, no matter how glittery, enticing and sparkly the bait of our {collectively agreed upon} reality is right now.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
For any of you who have the slightest inkling of what I’m talking about, this is your call to action.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Stay in centre. We need you here now, right in the eye of the storm. Do not retreat. Do not isolate. Do not go into meditation in some more lovely place far, far away from here. Stay. Right. Here.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Remember, perhaps, that somehow we asked for this. A girlfriend was saying to me just yesterday, “If I ask to be more patient, I get stuck in a traffic jam. If I ask to be more kind, someone immediately insults me,” and so on. If I ask to hold more light, I am shown more of my ignorance. If I ask to remain in love, I am shown all the places where I have been leaving love behind. Everything – this projection screen of reality – presents itself to us in direct response to that which we have requested for our own evolution {even ‘response’ is unsatisfying, as that implies a thin veil of separation where there is none}. Or perhaps, you could look at it as one great big collective environmental karma that we all share right now.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
We belong to a whole entire planet. Are we really going to bomb it to pieces and obliterate ourselves? Shoot our neighbour down, figuratively or literally speaking, for having different beliefs than our own? No. We have come way too far to get too cozy here.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
We asked for more unity. We asked for more peace. We asked for more “One-ness”. So, are we honestly so surprised when the exact and radical opposite shows up on our world stage, in order to teach us the nitty gritty discomfort of what that really means? The kind of discipline, discipleship, awareness, and surrender that unified state actually requires of us?
 [spacer height=”20px”]
The time is now and the only way out is through. Right to the centre point. The eye of the storm. That’s You, right here.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
I know it’s hard. I know it’s fucking hard. I know it challenges every cell in your being and parts of you bristle deep inside at the prospect of breaking down these perceptions, beliefs, and mental structures you have so dutifully and so delicately built up. This is your castle. I get it. In a deeply personal way, I get it. I know how impenetrable it seems at times. Trust me, I know. I know those walls were intelligently built up to protect some dee and secret hidden part of you that I know nothing about, a part of you that once needed those walls of perceptions and intricate belief systems to feel safe and whole. I know the parts of you beneath it are unbearably tender, vulnerable, and soft. But it’s ok. You are safe here. We can make it safe for one another. We actually have the power to do that, each of us, one by one and all together. Each of us does not hold one fraction of the whole of consciousness within us. On the contrary, each of us holds within us the whole of consciousness. Realize that. You hold the whole of consciousness within you.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
I know this test requires and requests the absolute most of you {but would you possibly have it any other way?}
 [spacer height=”20px”]
There was a saying in old India, “When the world is burning, practice Tantra.” … And I dare say, the world is burning.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
I’m not saying this is the answer, but, in a world gone mad, stillness and love is as far as I’ve gotten. You?
 [spacer height=”20px”]
Begin now.
 [spacer height=”20px”]
All my love,
Amanda
